A Hometown Celebration
TBD at Veterans Amphitheater
Join us as we kick-off “A Hometown Celebration” on Sunday, June 28 at 5:00 pm at the Veterans Amphitheater (located on the grounds of City Hall). There will be games, food trucks (from Fairfax City businesses) and a concert by the award-winning City of Fairfax Band beginning at 7:00 pm. We hope you will join us at this inaugural event. In case of rain the event will be relocated to the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center; food venders will also be on-site.

Commemorative 4th of July T-Shirts for Sale
The Independence Day Celebration Committee (IDCC) is pleased to announce that we will be selling our commemorative July 4th t-shirts on the steps of City Hall on Saturday, June 13 and Saturday, June 20 from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. While social distancing, we ask that you drive up the circular drive in front of City Hall where IDCC members will be taking your order and placing it inside your vehicle ... we ask that you please do not get out of your vehicle. Sales will happen rain or shine.
The theme "There's No Place Like Home" was picked in the fall of 2019 - we had no idea how important that theme would be when it was chosen.
Shirts are available in red, white and blue at a cost of $5/youth (sizes XSmall - Large; unfortunately, we have no youth shirts in white); $10/adult (sizes Small - XXXLarge; we have a limited inventory of white shirts); and while supplies last, we will have the baseball hat for $10. Cash or Checks (made payable to IDCC).
